Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club of Bowling Green is inviting grant applications from community- based organizations.
Guidelines for Grant Seekers
Know which grant is the best fit for your request:
Community Service Committee Grants are focused on helping other nonprofit agencies and service projects. Submit grant by emailing [email protected] and use Community Grant in the subject line.
Young Children – Priority One Grants are focused on addressing the needs of children, prenatal to age five, by planning and sponsoring club activities that benefit this age group. Submit grant by emailing [email protected] and use Young Children Grant in the subject line.
Youth Services Committee Grants are focused on helping school-age children, six through adult, by supporting organized activities that benefit youth. Submit grant by emailing [email protected] and use Youth Service Grant in the subject line.
Grants are typically for $100-300, but could be higher for a worthy project. Grant amounts up to $1,000 will be considered.
Applications are accepted throughout the year.
The Kiwanis Club of Bowling Green should be named/credited for funding the grant. We appreciate tagging โBowling Green Kiwanis Club – Ohioโ on Facebook, if the event is posted.
BG Kiwanis reserves the right to ask for additional project details, depending on the complexity of the project.
A Final Report is required from all successful grant applicants within 90 days of the project. Use the FINAL REPORT form and email the report to the Committee from which you received the grant.
Photos and videos submitted in digital format are appreciated.
Any unspent funds must be returned to the Kiwanis Club for reinvestment in the community. Organizations that receive grants are occasionally requested to present on their project at a Kiwanis meeting (Thursdays, 11:30 am-1:00 pm).
